Help
Answers to the most common questions about Stamio.
What you need
An iPhone and an Apple Watch. Stamio calculates your fitness from what the watch records in the Health app: wear it day and night, and record your workouts with the Workout app.
Why doesn't a value show up yet?
Some values need a bit of history. An empty card always says what it's waiting for, for example "After 18 nights with the watch" for HRV status. VO2 max appears after an outdoor run with the watch on your wrist; training status after about two weeks.
If almost nothing shows up, check the permissions: Settings › Apps › Health › Data Access & Devices › Stamio, then "Turn On All". On iOS 27, also choose "All recorded and future data" rather than the last 30 days.
My plan workouts don't reach my watch
In Stamio: Settings › Watch and connections › "Sync plan workouts". The first time, allow sending to the Workout app. The next 7 days are then kept up to date after every change to the plan. Open the app on your iPhone now and then so it stays current.
My values differ from another watch
That's normal: every brand has its own sensors and its own calculations. Stamio estimates your values from your Apple Watch measurements. Compare how they change from week to week rather than the exact number on a given day.
Change units or language
Settings › Display: kilometers or miles, and the app language (French or English).
Delete my data
Settings › Data › "Delete app data" erases everything Stamio stored, without touching Health. "Reset calculations" recalculates everything from Health and keeps your plan and settings.
Privacy
Everything is calculated on your devices; nothing is sent or sold. The details are in the privacy policy (Settings › About).

Not a medical device
Stamio is not a medical device. Its values are estimates to help you train. If you have any doubt about your health, talk to a doctor.
